Sony adds to its portfolio two new, very well-equipped smartphones, which have one very important advantage - they are waterproof.
Waterproof has recently become the subject of number 1, after Nokia announced a completely new waterproof technology , so Sony just announced their new smart phones, also resistant to water.
The first is the Sony Xperia Go. It's more low-end smartphone with a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 5-megapixel camera and dual-core processor with 1 GHz. The operating system is Android 2.3, but Sony should provide an update to the latest version of the system. This model complies with IP57 standard.
The new smartphone will be launched in the third quarter of 2012.
